Kenny Chesney Concerts in 2011
After a brief hiatus from touring, Kenny Chesney is back in the saddle again and hitting the road to the delight of his fans. The Goin Coastal tour promises to be one of those events that you’ll remember for years to come.
This go round, Kenny mixes his unique country style with just enough island flair to make you imagine that you’re kicking back on a tropical vacation. So, bring your flip flops and cowboy hat because Kenny is ready to party hearty!
You’ll get to hear live renditions of songs from his recent best-selling Hemingway’s Whiskey album. Sing along with Kenny to new favorites like Coastal, You and Tequila, The Boys of Fall and the title track, Hemingway’s Whiskey.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without bringing along some good friends, right? Well, this time around, the Zac Brown Band is coming along for the ride, and you better believe that they are looking to keep you out of your seat and having a great time.
Kenny and the boys kick off the tour in West Palm Beach, FL at the Cruzan Amphitheatre on March 17 and continue on to Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium on March 19. Some other scheduled stops along the way are Des Moines, IA, Saint Paul, MN, Tulsa, OK, Portland, ME, Arlington, TX, Mountain View, CA, Atlanta, GA and Detroit, MI. This tour rolls on through August, and maybe beyond, so be sure to keep checking for performances near your local area.
It’s a good idea to get your tickets early, because most Kenny Chesney fans are clamoring to get good seats. It’s been a whole year since you’ve seen your boy, and now’s the time to get the best seating.
Fans love Kenny for his giving heart as much as they do for his music, so it’s no surprise to learn that he recently participated in a benefit concert for the Everglades Foundation. Kenny’s good buddy, foundation board member, Jimmy Buffet, joined Kenny on stage for Kenny’s popular Back Where I Came From and a favorite Buffet tune, Come Monday.
You may also have recently heard about Kenny’s turn as a producer of sport’s themed documentaries for ESPN. Kenny recently received the prestigious “Tennessean of the Year” honor for his role in producing the Boys of Fall documentary, as well as, his mentorship of young adults throughout the country (Kenny has given away thousands of Boys of Summer DVDs to high schools).
Kenny’s latest ESPN documentary The Color of Orange: The Condredge Holloway Story, recently premiered on ESPN.
